KRI is Hiring a CNC Machinist Near Fort Collins, CO
KRI is looking for an experienced CNC machinist to run low-volume production parts at our safe, clean shop in north Fort Collins, Colorado. Five 8-hour shifts. Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends, with start times as early as 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM. The anticipated start date is June 10, 2024. Our CNC machinist is a mix between organized and detailed, but also creative and solution-driven. So, if you are passionate about and have experience with setups and G&M codes, are looking for autonomy, and are deeply curious about machining, we want to hear from you.

On any given day you will...
- Independently set up, program, and operate production run of parts on our CNC machines.
- Be required to use shop math. I'm talking speeds and feeds and geometry.
- Run small batches per part; average is 30, but can be up to 50 per batch.
- Make a variety of parts on any given day or week.
- Complete and record parts inspections to maintain quality production.
- Work with and on Fadal, and Mori-Seiki machines, both new and gently used.
Job requirements include...
- Understanding G & M codes.
- Passionate about and have experience with machine setups.
- Experience with program editing.
- Knowledge of programming fundamentals.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Innately curious about your craft.
- Must be reliable and capable.
